Hunter oversees asset management, operations strategy, investor relations, and company culture. Hunter formed Free Heel Capital after realizing the opportunity for community creation and enhancement in the multifamily sector by providing quality residences focused on social value and environmental sustainability.
Before forming Free Heel Capital, Hunter worked as a Regional Asset Manager for Northern Management, where he managed a large scale portfolio of multifamily assets. His experiences include intensive value-add, team strategy, operations oversight, and multifamily business plan execution.
Hunter holds a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics. He is an outdoors and motorsports enthusiast who enjoys spending time at his family’s cabin on Lake Redstone in LaValle, WI.

David is Free Heel Capital's principal. David is a 30-year multifamily real estate veteran who currently has ~3000 units owned and managed across Wisconsin and Eastern Iowa and ~500K sqft of industrial/commercial space. David personally owns ~$250M of gross asset value between ~50 properties, and has an abundance of experience managing multifamily assets including being the past president of Apartment Owners and Managers Association of Wisconsin.
Having an extensive work history with both Hunter & Max, David is looking to help Free Heel Capital expand its scope of investment and acquire new properties in growing markets. Through Free Heel Capital David is working to expand his investment horizons and create new geographic strongholds.

Max oversees the firm’s investment and development activity, culture, and growth strategy. Recognizing opportunities in the suburban apartment market, Max formed Free Heel Capital to capitalize on middle-market inefficiencies and shortfalls in today's consumer-facing economy.
Prior to Free Heel Capital, Max worked at J Jeffers & Co. and The X Company where he managed a complex mixed use development and acquisitions pipeline, operations and multifamily social club activation.
Max holds a BBA from The University of Wisconsin-Madison in both Real Estate and Urban Land Economics and Finance, Investment and Banking. He is an avid reader, energy enthusiast and outdoorsman. With a “doing things” mentality, Max can be found shopping new markets, learning new industries, skiing, and traveling in search of new ideas to vertically integrate into Free Heel Companies, communities and philosophy.

Benjamin Gordon facilitates Free Heel’s investment relations and strategy. He is also the Managing Partner at Twenty40 Ventures, where he spearheads investments in promising startups, demonstrating a keen eye for ventures with high growth potential. Prior to his current role, Ben played a significant role in strategic planning and acquisitions at Collab Inc., and also contributed his talents to the television department at Creative Artists Agency.
As a licensed real estate sales agent since 2015, Ben has shown a remarkable ability to identify and capitalize on real estate opportunities, successfully flipping properties in the Midwest and South. He extends his expertise and passion for community development through his board memberships with the Leonard Hill Charitable Trust and Cure Cervical Cancer. Ben is also a licensed pilot, pursuing his love for aviation with multiple airmen certificates. He holds an MBA in Real Estate Finance and a BA in Political Science and Integrated Liberal Studies, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
